Software



We have developed an interface to cut 3 Dimensional parts. Though based on Sprut Cam, we can also accept stp, igs, dxf, dwg file formats.



Development



At Laser 3 LC, we help our customers through our design and assistance, where we offer installments of lasers for cutting, welding, brazing, and sintering. ​



Design



We have two seats of Solid Works. We can design, simulate, and conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA). ​



Identity



Laser 3 LC. Is a Designer, Fabricator, Constructor, Programmer, Integrator and Manager for Laser systems.

CO2 Laser Repairs and Replacements



Today, Fiber Lasers come with lots of advantages and low operating costs.

We replace Co2 Lasers Trumpf and Bystronic with a Fiber Laser.



Optimize Your Resources



Many Industrial Co2 Lasers are aging and maintenance is a high cost. But written off from the books, replacing the Co2 laser with a fiber laser will upgrade the machine, allowing it to cut reflective materials, provide more years of production, and cut faster.​ In addition, upgrading to a fiber laser reduces electric cost and maintenance.

There is always someone available to answer any questions. We maintain communication with all of our customers and in addition, we can train your Laser Operator, and assist in any Laser related matter.



Efficient Technology



Though there are laser companies with a fiber laser product, their goal is to sell an entire new machine. However most customers do not require a new machine but only a new laser upgrade, which is exactly what we provide here at Laser 3 LC, where we'll do the integration swiftly and efficiently.​

CO2 lase efficiency is about 9%. Fiber Laser efficiency is about 30%.



Who We Are



Laser 3 LC is a Laser Job shop that offers 3D Laser cutting services. We use precise and fast machining with Laser technology and fine cuts for: aerospace, automotive, construction, appliance, energy, military prototype pre-production, and entertainment industries.
Some of our capabilities include hot stamped parts, hydroforming tubes, aluminum stampings and any other jobs that require trimming and perforations in precise, rapid, and efficient ways. Our laser cutting services utilize 5 axes laser cutting, laser welding, laser heat treating and laser tube cutting.

How we work



Once you decide to replace the Co2 laser with a fiber laser, we'll visit you, take dimensions and details to prepare the mechanical adapters, and verify all the electrical connections. This process will take around 2 days.

After the laser is purchased, machining will be done and we'll conduct a second visit to remove the Co2 Laser and install the fiber laser. Time required: Around 3-5 days. Mechanical optical software adjustments will allow for the machine to be in production in about a week.

On the third and last visit, we'll check the controls and optimize the software. This final process will take around 2 days

What is required



The Customer must supply all of the resources including: Electrical, cables, hoses, fittings, clamps, Fork lift with operator, laser operator, transport costs, lodging, and meals. Please complete all of our questions and provide all your information.


Remove the Co2 Laser if necessary.

Keep the same software​

​Add enclosure and eye safety.

Warranty



Laser Equipment warranty is provided by the manufacturer and is usually 3 years. See details


Installation warranty is 2 years from acceptance date.


Optics and Fiber optics do not have a warranty. ​



Questions For Clients



To be able to quote for the retrofit, and provide the best service to our clients, we will need some specific information about the Laser cutting machine and its optics. Please refer to these questions and provide us with your information.
For the actual CO2 laser, how thick of materials do you plan to cut?
What is your machines maximum cutting speed ?
What is the speed limit of the machine for small details?
Is the Laser machine in production now?
How many days can the machine be out of production?
Are you cutting using 20 bar N2?
Head- Is the Head using 5" Focal distance or 7.5" ?
Please specify the machine specifications including: Model, Type, Controller, Inputs / Outputs Card type, Analog Input / Output card type.
Please specify the actual laser on the machine as well as its: type, specifications, and if electrical diagrams are available.
Please provide pictures of the laser head with a view of the top, side, and bottom.
Is the sensor cone Precitec? If so, what is the model of the cone sensor?
How do you change the focal position?
What is the lens thickness and diameter?
What are the sizes of the cutting Tips?
Which Nozzle is being used now?
What size are the folding mirrors, and what is their diameter thickness?
Electrical: Is the actual installation using a step up or down transformer? If so, what is the Voltage in, Voltage out?
How many KVA?
Are the Electrical panel photos from the interface from laser to controller, and are there electrical actual Schematics? (It should be in the Laser Machine Manual.)
Do you have available 380V 3 phase?

Chiller- We can use the same chiller, it will be operating at lower duty cycle for the fiber laser. Please change the filters and adjust for flow and pressure.
Software- No changes are required. But you need to load the fiber laser software on the same PC.
Is a password necessary to log in as Administrator?

Cutting tables - Cutting parameters will change but the Operator should find good parameters.

Laser- Fiber Laser: 2 Kw, 3 Kw, 4 kw, 6 Kw, 12Kw IPG , nlight.. Or imported. You choose!
Optics- Quote Fiber optics Col, Lenses, Add Air Purge and filters if needed. Pictures are needed of the Z mirror holder, this is located on top of the Z Axis all 3 views:
Safety- The Fiber Laser is required to be in a LIGHT-TIGHT cabin. You will provide the Cabin and proper safety windows.
